Such a same ye left it, right when many of the loose ends were made
OK, got readin’ through the main comic of yours and here are my thoughts.
Anyone who’s into two legged talkin’ animals lookin’ for superhero genre will definitely be pleased. It’s pretty much X-men all over again, good guys defendin’ regular people and baddies hatin’ em yadda, yadda, yadda. But whatever, it’s hard to make somethin’ entirely original these days, so that anyone who’s like “THIS HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE!!” can shut his mouth. Truth be told, every work of fiction is rippin’ off either Bible of various old mythologies from ‘round the world.
The light-hearted and classic style is a great choice. Ever since Nolan’s Batman movie, everyone got apeshit over “dark and grittier” style. But anyway, once again, great choice for a style like that. Of course there are dramatic moments, but it best be stayed that way. Do not want waaay too emotional moments exaggerated. Stay positive!
Now the characters. I ain’t a fan of multi-main characters in fictional works, cause usually it ends up, where some characters get too much spotlight and others left behind. Here, I admire your effort in givin’ em equal amount of screen time, so everyone can be happy with his/her favourite. Of course remembering the names can take some time, but whatever, cause yeah, it’s just a matter of time.
My personal fav character has to be that goat girl (Capricorn). For some reason I like characters with powerful dark alter ego, man I think it’s because of Jak from Jak and Daxter series (WHERE’S JAK 4 ND?! >:/). Jak transforms into dark eco freak whenever he gets angry. And so does Capricorn lol. And yet again, I see satanic symbolism associated with that goat girl, wow, how cliché.
My least favorite has to be Libra, OW GAWD NOT ANOTHER SWAGGER! But ye get bonus points for turnin’ him into punch-bag. Oh yeah! Serves him good!
Background. There’s quite amount of stock image used and that’s my only complain.
Each comic page should have more comic panels, just to keep a fast pace and I see you recently did that, so keep it up!
And dialogs… the comic’s floodin’ with ‘em. Seriously keep it simple, please. In some cases I’m like “OK, I get it, I know what the character’s goin’ to do, no need for him to tell me that”. But actions scenes are done great, the dynamics, the impact, wow.
My final score for this comic is: Screw it, who needs scores?! Scores are for morons, I mean, viewers can make up their own opinion, right?
PS. The scene where Aquarius powers up her attack. I found it hilarious, since her muscles instantly grew, what is she? A super saiyan LOL That’s what I immediately though.
